If you have clearance around your mirror, we recommend that you round up to the nearest fraction. If you do not have any clearance, we recommend that you round down.

We can frame mirrors up to 142”. Oversized frames are subject to a $99.00 handling fee due to the oversized nature of the frame. This covers additional labor and shipping fees. Frames over 85” will be spliced, which allows them to ship via our standard FedEx service.

Overhang is referred to as the length of frame that extends past the edge of your mirror. Overhang is typically 3/8" and only added to each side of your frame that has the available clearance. This creates the look of a fully framed mirror by hiding the edges of the glass when possible. If your mirror sits on a backsplash or butts up against a wall or obstruction, no overhang will be added to those sides of your frame. Not sure if you have clearance? Don't worry! This information is gathered during the ordering process and the overhang is determined automatically by our system.

If your space has the clearance for it, we like to add 3/8” overhang to each side of your mirror. This conceals the edge of your mirror, giving it a clean, finished look!

Absolutely! Our frames are custom cut and mount directly to the surface of your mirror so they work for almost any space.

Yes. Add A Frame works with your existing metal mirror clips. If your mirror has bulky plastic clips, we include low-profile replacement metal clips for free. You’ll replace one clip at a time, so you do not need to remove your mirror from the wall.

Yes. Add A Frame works with mirrors that have metal J-channel (long, metallic strip usually at the bottom and sometimes top of your mirror). During the order process, we’ll ask about your mirror setup so we can make sure your frame is made to fit properly.

Yes. Add A Frame is designed to work with beveled mirrors. We’ll ask about your mirror edge during the order process so your frame is made correctly. Once installed, the frame will cover the bevel for a clean, finished look.

The general lead time for our products is 3-5 business days. Our beveled and antiqued Framed Mirrors have a lead time of up to 3-4 weeks. Samples usually ship out within 1-2 business days.
